Description et caractéristique
Shitake, Lentinus edodes singer, est un champignon cultivé dans les forêts du Japon. Il pousse dans les troncs des chênes japonais appelés Kunugi. Les spores sont plantés dans les troncs des arbres coupés à 1 mètre de hauteur et posés dans la forêt. Il pousse naturellement sans engrais.
