Description et caractéristique
Le goût du yuzu ressemble à celui du pamplemousse avec des tons de mandarine/clémentine. Il est rarement consommé tel quel, mais en cuisine japonaise, son zeste est utilisé pour garnir certains plats, et son jus est utilisé pour l’assaisonnement, un peu comme le jus de citron dans la cuisine occidentale.

Le jus de yuzu est couramment utilisé dans les confitures ou les gâteaux. Vous pourrez en faire un merveilleux sorbet au goût si particulier et unique. Le yuzu Japonais est reconnu pour son goût et sa saveur complexe qui en fait un produit rare. A ne surtout pas confondre avec le daidai de Chine ou autre mélange portant le même nom.
